The team over at Bushwalk Tasmania have put together a terrific calendar for 2009.
It features wonderful images of the Tasmanian wilderness.
The 2009 Bushwalk Tasmania Calendar features the winning photos from all the 2008 monthly photo competitions (up to September) as well as the top 3 photos from the 2007 photo of the year competition. The calendar is available from the Bushwalk Tasmania online shop now for USD$16.50 (plus shipping).
The Bushwalk Tasmania forum is a great way to meet other hikers, ask questions about Tasmanian walks and share information about gear, trips and bushwalking ideas. Excellent, well thought out and safe advice is freely given to all comers.
There is also a great "controversy corner" where juicy subjects like the Pulp Mill, logging and the quality of Tasmanian journalism are discussed.
NB - the only issue with the calendar, that you need to be aware of, is that due to various issues, the calendar has American public holidays etc. Looking past that, the fantastic photos far outweigh this small inconvenience.
